Wright Well & Pump is a family well drilling and pump company from Kannapolis, North Carolina, owned by Danny Wright, a third-generation well driller.
How it started
The company goes back more than four decades, to when Will “Stub” Wright decided to drill wells. He passed the company to his son, Lee Arthur “Bud” Wright, who made well drilling a full-time job with his son Danny. The old red truck was lettered “Wright’s & Son Well Drilling, Kannapolis, N.C.” Today the company is Wright Well & Pump, and Dillon Wright is the fourth generation of drillers in the family.

Residential water wells, irrigation wells, pump repair and water treatment, across Cabarrus, Rowan, Mecklenburg, Iredell, Stanly and Union counties. In their words: “Most of the work we do here at Wright Well & Pump is pump repair and maintenance.” The company has served Kannapolis and the surrounding area for decades, providing quality work for affordable prices.

Danny Wright is a North Carolina certified well contractor at Level A, the level that covers all well contractor work, including drilling. His certificate, number 2021, dates from July 6, 1999.
